STILL TOPPING CHARTS: ‘Essence’ By Wizkid Featuring Tems Becomes The Most ‘Shazamed’ Song In US

Grammy award winner, Wizkid’s song ‘Essence’ which features Tems, has become the most searched song on Shazam in the United States.

‘Essence’ has gained international recognition across the globe since the time of its release. A while ago, it was reported by abtc.ng that the song has raked in million-plus searches on the same platform, Shazam. ‘Essence’ is arguably the most streamed African song on Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms this year. It has over 12 million streams on Spotify, 10 million views on YouTube, and millions of streams on other platforms. It once entered the US Apple Music Charts as part of the top ten songs.

‘Essence’ remix features Canadian Singer, Justin Bieber. The remix has also been doing quite well after its release. It became a top-charting song on Spotify, Apple Music, and others, a few days after its release. Tems also became a widely known name in many households as people commended her for her incredible verse on the tune.
