Zubby Michael Responds to Critics Over Not Mourning Junior Pope

Famous Nigerian actor and movie producer, Azubuike Michael Egwu professionally known as Zubby Michael has at last responded to detractors who are criticizing him for not expressing grief over the loss of his fellow actor, Junior Pope, who tragically died in a boating incident.

John Paul Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, alongside four other actors after their boat capsized in Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie shoot.

After his passing, numerous celebrities, especially those within the film industry, have utilized their social media platforms to lament the actor’s demise. Zubby Michael, however, conspicuously remained silent.

His lack of response has stirred up criticisms and speculation regarding his friendship with the late actor.

Amid this, Nigerian actress Angela Okorie has claimed that Zubby has consistently displayed envy towards other actors.

Following all this, Zubby Michael has finally decided to address the uproar on his social media page.

He expressed that everyone should take a break. According to him, showing grief isn’t solely about posting on social media pages.

Zubby wrote “Make Una rest. No be by posting.”
