Zia Cooke apparently gets almost $8,000 for each advertisement post on her Instagram profile, which has approximately 230,000 followers.

Cooke, then a junior in college, secured a sponsorship agreement with H&R Block as the first two participants in the company’s “A Fair Shot” effort to give $1 million in support for female collegiate athletes.

She has also signed name, image, and likeness licensing agreements with Dick’s Sporting Goods and Bojangles.

Cooke is one of the collegiate athletes who has benefited from a judgement by the United States Supreme Court last year that permits them to own and profit from their name, image, and likeness.

Despite the fact that she makes her own money, she is more concerned with constantly enhancing her abilities and brand.

“I really don’t even want to know how much money I have,” she said. “I haven’t looked at the account since I’ve started.

Now I’m just trying to stay focused on my best work… I want to save because once you see the prices like you want to buy stuff like that.” Cooke told CBS News.
