Zay Flowers is a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Ravens. Zay Flowers is the son of Willie Flowers and Jackie Walden.Zay Flowers was born on September 11, 2000. Zay Flowers grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as the 11th of 14 children. His mother passed away in 2005, leaving his father, Willie, to drive a truck for a medical device company to provide for the family.

Zay Flowers attended NSU University School. He caught 48 passes for 631 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior. Flowers played wide receiver and cornerback at NSU, where he helped the team to back-to-back state semifinal appearances.

A 3-star prospect and the nation’s 135th receiver recruit committed to Boston College to play college football. Flowers caught 22 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns as a true freshman.

Zay Flowers became the school’s second first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference wide receiver after finishing his sophomore season with 56 receptions for 892 yards and nine touchdowns.

After catching 44 passes for 746 yards and five touchdowns, he was named third-team All-ACC. Flowers was chosen with the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.
