Zack Greinke Parents: Meet Donald Greinke, Marsha Greinke

Zack Greinke is an American professional baseball player who is known as one of the top pitchers in Major League Baseball (MLB). He is the son of Donald and Marsha Greinke who are both teachers.

He is of German descent. Greinke was drafted by the Royals in the first round with the sixth choice in the 2002 MLB draft after winning the Gatorade National Player of the Year Award as a high school senior.

Zack Greinke made his MLB debut in 2004 after spending time in the minor levels. He missed the majority of the 2006 season due to some issues.

He returned in 2007 as a reliever before returning the starting rotation in 2008 and quickly becoming one of the game’s best pitchers. He competed in the MLB All-Star Game in 2009, topped the major leagues in earned run average, and was named the American League Cy Young Award winner.

Since making his Major League Baseball debut in 2004 with the Royals, he has played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Los Angeles Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Houston Astros

Throughout his career, Greinke has earned numerous accolades, including multiple All-Star selections and Gold Glove Awards for his excellent fielding. He is known for his deceptive delivery, pitch variety, and ability to outwit hitters.
