Alisha Woods is the wife of Zach Parise an American professional ice hockey left winger for the National Hockey League’s (NHL) New York Islanders.

The couple met at the University of North Dakota. Zach and Alisha got married on July 21 2012 in Minnesota. They have two children together. Zach and his family reside in Edina, Minnesota.
The couple met while Parise was playing NCAA hockey for the University of North Dakota, where Alisha was a student. He joined the UND at the start of the 2002-2003 season.

Zach Praise was drafted 17th overall by the Devils in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and went pro after his sophomore season, spending a year with the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Zach Parise has represented the United States at a variety of events. He helped the United States ice hockey team win gold at the 2004 World Junior Championships, where he was named Most Valuable Player, Best Forward, and made the Tournament All-Star Team.
Zach Parise served as an alternate captain for the United States at the 2010 Winter Olympics, scoring the tying goal late in the gold medal game against Canada to force overtime.
