“You’re Dumb If You Shame People For Doing An Honest Job”- Simi

Female Nigerian musician, Simi, has thrown shades at people and social media users who are fond of laughing at others who are doing honest jobs to feed their families.

According to her, you are dumb if you always shame or laugh at people because they are working hard and taking up honest jobs to survive in society. She added that these people who laugh at others are usually broke and proud. She made this known in a tweet sighted on her page.

Simi wrote;

“If you shame people for doing honest, hard work to ea, talmbout ‘they are peasants’, you are dumb. Meanwhile, you broke. Broke and proud and loud af in ur dirty briefs”.

At the just-ended 14th Edition of the Headies awards, Simi was named the best songwriter of the year, with her son, Duduke. She dedicated her award to her daughter Deja for inspiring her to write the song.
