Facing death threats ever since her arrest, Yolanda Saldívar, has been spending her prison time alone, in a small cell, for her own protection.

Yolanda Saldivar, 35, was sentenced to life in prison for murdering the beloved Tejano singing star in a falling-out about business.

The founder of the Selena fan club will not be eligible for parole for 30 years.

She was given a small cell with no cellmate, radio or television and little or no contact with other inmates.

According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, it’s been confirmed that Saldivar, 60, will be eligible for parole in March 2025, 30 years after her sentence began. She could be released on that date.
