Yevhen Yenin was a Ukrainian diplomat and lawyer who served as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs from 2021 to 2023.

Yevhen Yenin died in a helicopter crash on 18 January 2023, in Brovary, an eastern suburb of the capital Kyiv.
Yevhen Yenin was born on November 19, 1980, in Dnipro then Dnipropetrovsk, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
In 2002, he graduated from Ukraine’s National Security Service Academy. He also graduated from the State University of Finance and International Trade in 2012.
He was a political scientist with a PhD in a Transnistrian settlement. He was fluent in English, Romanian, and Italian.

On April 15, 2020, Yenin was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Was in charge of Ukraine’s Asian policy at the Foreign Ministry.
He represented Ukraine in international disputes with the Russian Federation as well as negotiations with Iran over the downing of Flight PS 752.
Yenin was appointed First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs on September 6, 2021, reporting to Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky.
Yevhen Yenin also served as Ukraine’s Deputy Prosecutor General (international legal cooperation) from 2016 to 2019.
