Nigerian Rapper, YCee has slammed a netizen for stating that there’s nothing unique about Tem’s voice for people to be praising her that much.

According to a Twitter user with the handle @SirDavidBent, there are plenty of Nigerian female artistes who are way better than Tems, therefore, he doesn’t see anything unique about her voice.
“There are plenty of female artistes that can sing better than Tems. I’m yet to find what is unique about her voice. Except a lot of PR and Twitter hype. Chidinmma’s voice sends chills down my spine. Tiwa Savage sends chills as well. Yemi Alade and Omawunmi are better singers. Unfortunately, there’s nothing “unique” about Tems voice. Her voice is just normal to me. It doesn’t send chills down my spine. I’m a musicologist, so I know what I’m saying. P.S: This is my own opinion, if you like ratio, from now till tomorrow, e no concern me,” he wrote in the tweet.

YCee who thought this take wasn’t appropriate then quoted the tweet by saying that there’s something absolutely wrong with the netizen.
“Go lie down on top ice block since your spine Dey find chills,” he replied.
Tems’ hype got intense after her collaboration with Wizkid on ‘Essence,’ which has made her gain a lot of attention across the globe. She’s set to be featured on Canadian Rapper, Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album which drops at midnight 3rd September 2021.
