Who Is Yamiche Alcindor?
Yamiche Alcindor is an award-winning journalist who has received several awards and nominations in her career, including the Aldo Beckman Award for her Overall Excellence in White House Coverage.
Alcindor has previously been listed amongst the most influential African Americans under-45.

The Miami-born native has been a Washington correspondent for NBC News for a long time, until recently.

At the beginning of her career, she worked at The Seattle Times, the Miami Herald, the Botswanan newspaper Mmegi, and The Washington Post.
Also, she has previously hosted Washington Week on PBS and served as a reporter for “PBS NewsHour, USA Today, and The New York Times.”
Alcindor holds a bachelor’s degree in English and government from Georgetown University, and a master’s degree in “broadcast news and documentary filmmaking” from New York University.
