Who Is Yael Groblas?

Yael Grobglas is a famous actress known for appearing as Petra Solano in the TV series Jane the Virgin.

Born on May 31, 1984, in Paris, France, Groblas discovered her acting skills early in life and began performing in dance and theatre groups from an early age.

She had a stint modelling for brands and on runways and went on to graduate from the Yoram Loewenstein Performing Arts Studio in Tel Aviv, Israel.

In 2007, Groblas was cast in three seasons of the Israeli sci-fi TV series Ha’i and in 2010, she rose to prominence with the first Israeli horror film Rabies.

Since then, Grobglas has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows such as the sitcom Ha-Shualim, Ramzor, Hatzuya, Tanuhi, The Selection, and the CW’s series Reign, starring as Olivia D’Amencourt.

In 2012, Grobglas appeared in the Israeli comedy-drama series Tanuchi (“Chill”).

In 2014, Grobglas starred in CW’s series Jane the Virgin. In 2016, she received an honorable mention for her performance in the series.
