Xavier Dolan is a Canadian filmmaker, actor, and screenwriter. He is the son of Manuel Tadros and Geneviève Dolan.

His mother Geneviève Dolan is a Quebecois teacher, and his father Manuel Tadros ia a successful Egyptian-Canadian actor and singer of Coptic and Lebanese descent.

Dolan’s father Tadros’composed the French versions of the music in Chicago in 2003, containing the film’s French-language musical comedy adaption and Nostalgia in 2004.

He provides the voice of Rodrigo Borgia in the Ubisoft games Assassin’s Creed II and Brotherhood, as well as the short film Assassin’s Creed: Lineage. He has dubbed over 750 films and television shows.

Tadros is also a founding member and administrator of ArtistI, a non-profit organisation that handles royalties paid to artists. He was diagnosed with diabetes at a young age and has long served as a representative for the Fondation de la research sur le diabète juvénile (FRDJ).
