Woolworths Good Friday Working Hours

Woolworths has informed the SDA that all supermarkets will be closed on Good Friday.

The Easter weekend is fast approaching and for many this presents the chance to unwind and spend time with friends and family.

It is also a time where business owners and their workers take their time off, meaning closed store doors during the four-day period.

Whether you need to stock up on last minute Easter eggs or supplies for Easter feasts with family and friends, it’s important to know when your local store is open.

Woolworths Easter 2022 long weekend trading hours* are as follows:

Good Friday, April 15 – all stores CLOSED
Easter Saturday, April 16 – all stores OPEN, most Metro stores OPEN
Easter Sunday, April 17 – most stores CLOSED
Easter Monday, April 18 – all stores OPEN, most Metro stores OPEN

Good Friday is a national public holiday and recognised as a “restricted trading day”.

This means that some major retailers and venues may be open, but expect the large majority of them, like bottle shops, to be closed.
