Woman Dies After Friends Throw Her Into Boiling Pot of Tomatoes

A tragic incident has claimed the life of a young woman after she was thrown into a pot of boiling tomato by some of her friends.

The heartbreaking story was shared on Facebook by Israel Joe, a close friend of the deceased, who expressed shock and grief over the untimely demise of his friend, Rozzy.

According to Israel Joe’s post, Rozzy was pushed into a large pot of boiling pepper and tomatoes by her friends on April 13th. Despite battling for two weeks with severe burns, Rozzy succumbed to her injuries on April 26th, 2024.

Rozzy’s burial took place four days ago, but Israel Joe refused to let the matter be swept under the rug. He recounted how Rozzy’s friends, with whom she lived, allegedly orchestrated her death during a catering job in Sapele.

The post revealed that Rozzy was not fluent in her friends’ local language and was unaware of their conversation during the catering job. Suddenly, she found herself submerged in the boiling mixture, with her friends hesitating to rescue her promptly.

Although Rozzy was rushed to Sage Hospital in Warri for treatment, her injuries proved fatal, leaving her friends to mourn her tragic loss.

Israel Joe expressed outrage that Rozzy’s friends were still free and unaccountable for their actions, calling for justice to be served. He emphasized the need for the police to investigate the incident and ensure Rozzy’s friends faced the consequences of their alleged crime.

In his emotional plea for justice, Israel Joe vowed to fight for Rozzy’s memory, insisting that nobody deserves such a cruel fate. He concluded by affirming his commitment to seeking justice for his late friend, promising that Rozzy would not be forgotten and her death would not go unpunished.
