Wizkid Has Sold Out O2 Arena In London In Less Than 15 Minutes

Grammy award-winner, Wizkid, has sold out the popular O2 Arena in London for his ‘Made In Lagos’ album tour. He sold out the 20,000 capacity in 12 minutes.

Wizkid announced the pre-sale tickets yesterday, which equally spent little time on the site before everything was sold out. His main sales for the O2 Arena have also sold out in minutes. Many fans have pleaded with him to announce a second date as they couldn’t get tickets faster. However, there hasn’t been any feedback from the star boy in regards to that.

He has become the first African artiste to sell out the O2 in such a short time. Even though Ghana’s Sarkodie because the first African artiste to sell out the venue years ago, his wasn’t as rapid as Wizkid’s.

The ‘Made In Lagos’ album tour was postponed earlier because of the global pandemic which caused restrictions on public gatherings, but now that British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has lifted the ban, things are gradually getting back to normal.

The event is set to happen on 28th November 2021.
