The nominees for this year’s MTV Music video awards have been released. The list was sighted on social media on August 11.

The list contained the names of some top-notch musicians in the Nigerian music industry. Wizkid got two nominations for his song with Beyonce. Brown Skin Girl was nominated for Best R&B and Best Cinematography.
This was announced on the Twitter page of Africa Facts Zone.

“Wizkid has received two nominations at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) for Best R&B and best cinematography for Brown Skin Girl”.
Meanwhile, Wizkid has been achieving a lot lately as the ticket for his upcoming London show got sold out minutes after it was brought out.
In 2016, Wizkid achieved international recognition following his collaboration with Drake on the hit single “One Dance”, which reached number one in 15 countries, including the US Billboard Hot 100, the UK, Canada and Australia. He signed a multi-album deal with RCA Records in March 2017.
