Willie Garson was an American actor. He appeared in over 75 films and more than 300 TV episodes. He is known for playing Stanford Blatch on the HBO series, Sex and the City and in the related films, Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2.

Garson’s two other television appearances include Mr Belvedere, My Two DadsCoach, Quantum Leap (once as a newspaper salesman/ hack writer and once as Lee Harvey Oswald).

Though Garson played an openly gay man on Sex and the City, he was heterosexual.

Willie Garson Cause Of Death

Willie Garson had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, but the cause of death has not been confirmed. After several tributes started to emerge online on Tuesday night, his son Nathen confirmed that he had died writing, “I’m so proud of you”.

Garson was a single parent and adopted 20-year-old Nathen when he was seven.
