Wilbrod “Willie” Desjardins is a professional ice hockey player and coach from Canada. He is currently the head coach and general manager of the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League.

He was named head of Canada’s men’s coaching staff for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, in July 2017.
Desjardins began his coaching career as an assistant coach at the University of Calgary in 1985 and was promoted to head coach in 1989. He then went to Japan to coach the Seibu Bears.
He then returned to Canada, taking over as head coach of the Saskatoon Blades midway through the 1997–98 season, replacing Donn Clark. He was then hired as an assistant coach for the men’s national team of Canada.
