William Saliba is a French professional footballer who plays as a center-back for the Premier League club Arsenal and the France national team.

He signed his first professional contract with Saint-Étienne at age 17. He made his professional debut on September 25, 2018, in a 3–2 Ligue 1 win over Toulouse.
On July 25, 2019, Saliba signed a five years contract with Arsenal. Following the contract, Saliba was loaned to his former team Saint-Étienne in the 2019-20 season, OGC Nice in 2021, and Marseille for the 2021–22 season.

In Saliba’s return to Arsenal in the 2022-23 season, he made his Premier League debut on August 5, 2022, in an opening-day fixture away to Crystal Palace.
