English racehorse trainer, Williams Haggas, has a net worth of approximately $1.5 million.

Haggas was born on August 23, 1960, and happens to be the son-in-law of the multiple champion jockey Lester Piggott.

Haggas was schooled in Harrow and began playing cricket in the 1970s.

He later acquired his license as a horse trainer, while understudying John Winter and Mark Prescott.

Haggas has trained several winners over the years from 1987 to date, including two British Classic winners – Shaamit, winner of the 1996 Derby, and Dancing Rain, winner of the 2011 Oaks.

In 2011, he ranked 7th at the British Champions Series trainers’ table, a position which was a tie.

The winners of the German 2,000 Guineas, Topkapi Trophy, and Hong Kong Derby, are also amongst the voluminous list of competitors Haggas has trained.

Haggas was handpicked as a horse trainer for the Royal palace in 2013 and eventually trained Purple Spectrum to win the race at Windsor for Queen Elizabeth II.

Haggas has also trained other high-ranking horses such as Chorist, Aqlaam, and King’s Apostle.

Haggas lives at Somerville Lodge stables in Newmarket, Suffolk.
