William is the husband of actress Bervin Prince of One Tree Hill, On July 3, the 33 year old unfortunately passed away after being hit by lightning close to his Wilmington, North Carolina, home.

There isn’t much information about his personal life but he was known as the CEO of Bisnow.

William Friend, the CEO of Bisnow, was struck by lightning while he was on a boat close to Monsonboro Island. When people waved them down while they were on a normal patrol and they came upon William Friend lying down, the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office and Wilmington Police Department’s Marine Units arrived.
While transporting William to Bradley Creek to meet EMS, deputies game him CPR. He was taken to the ambulance by EMS, where they spent 20 minutes trying to revive him.
