Jada Koren Pinkett is the wife of Will Smith.

Will Smith married actress Jada Koren Pinkett in 1997 and they met when Pinkett auditioned for a role as Smith’s character’s girlfriend in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The pair produce films through their joint production company Overbrook Entertainment and Westbrook Inc.

Together they have two children: Jaden Christopher Syre Smith (born 1998), his co-star in The Pursuit of Happyness and After Earth; and Willow Camille Reign Smith (born 2000), who appeared as his daughter in I Am Legend.

In July 2020, Jada Pinkett Smith confirmed she was once romantically involved with singer August Alsina during Friday’s episode of her Facebook Watch show “Red Table Talk.”

Jada Pinkett Smith said the relationship happened roughly four and a half years ago while she was separated from husband Will Smith, who joined her for the show.

Jada Pinkett Smith said initially she and Alsina, were close friends and she wanted to help him get healthier. The “Song Cry” singer has been very open about his struggles with an autoimmune disease.

“It all started with him just needing some help. Me wanting to help his health, his mental state,” she explained.

“From there, you know, as time went on I got into a different kind of entanglement with August,” Pinkett Smnith said.

When Will Smith pushed his wife to clarify what she meant, Pinkett Smith responded: “It was a relationship, absolutely.”
