Filming for the pilot began in April 2022 throughout New Orleans. Principal photography for the rest of the series began on July 25, 2022, and is scheduled to conclude on December 15, 2022.

Will Jared Padalecki Be In The Winchesters?
Jared Padalecki won’t appear in The Supernatural Prequel, The Winchesters’ first season.
At the moment, Padalecki is working on Walker which also airs on the CW. This show is also getting a prequel which is unknown if he will be seen it.
If the Winchesters get picked up for a season 2, there’s an opening for a potential return from Padalecki as Sam Winchester.
