The Welsh professional footballer William Albert Evans popularly known as Will Evans plays as a winger and striker for EFL League Two club Newport County.
A native of Llangedwyn, United Kingdom, Evans commenced his football playing career at Shrewsbury Town youth system.
After a brief stint with the Llangedwyn village team in the Welsh fifth tier, Evans enrolled at Cardiff Metropolitan University where he played for the school football team in the Cymru Premier.

Following his graduation in 2020, Evans was signed by Cymru Premier club Bala Town.
Evans then signed his professional contract with the EFL League Two club Newport County in May 2022 for an undisclosed fee.
On 28 January 2024, Evans scored Newport’s second goal in their 4-2 FA Cup fourth-round defeat to Manchester United of the Premier League.
