Will Borgen is an ice hockey defense player who currently plays for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Born on December 19, 1996, in Moorhead, Minnesota, USA, Borgen began playing hockey at age three, and played in local youth leagues.
He attended Moorhead High School, where he played hockey for four years and was a standout player, earning All-State honors in his senior year.
Borgen got into college and played for St. Cloud State University. Before then, he played for the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) for two seasons.
During his collegiate career, Borgen was known for his strong defensive play and was named to the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) All-Rookie Team in his freshman year.

As a junior, he helped lead the team to the NCAA Tournament, and for the first time in the school’s history, they advanced to the Frozen Four.
