This information came to light on Wednesday, April 17, in a statement signed by Monisola Odumosu, a member of the legal team representing the Aloba family.
In the application submitted by the legal team to the family, Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, sought approval to serve Wunmi by delivering all the legal documents about the lawsuit, as well as other relevant documents, at the respondent’s most recent known residence.

As per the statement, Emmanuel Oroko’s legal representatives argued that the sheriff had made two unsuccessful efforts to deliver court documents to Wunmi for the DNA test.
“If the process were served on the last-known address of the respondent by Order of the Court, it would constitute good service and she would be aware of the pending suit.”
Consequently, the Chief Magistrate has approved the order for the respondent to be served by posting the court documents at her last known address.
