In February 2022, South African media personality, Mark Pilgrim was admitted to the hospital after he was diagnosed with lung cancer for the second time. He shared that it was a tough battle to go through but he was still being hopeful.

“This time, stage four lung cancer, which also metastasized and went to my femur, the base of my spine, and my lymph nodes. This section of my YouTube channel is for anyone who is going through cancer or is supporting someone who is. It documents my journey and desires to find positivity,” he shared.

When was Mark Pilgrim discharged from the hospital?
Mark Pilgrim was admitted to the hospital for a 10-hour draining procedure on January 13, 2023 and was discharged the following day. He was asked to recover from his home instead so he can spend more time with his close ones.
“Yesterday was 10 hours of drains and drips. Today… sitting in the garden enjoying fresh air and sunshine. Oh yes, and Prince Harry’s new book too,” he posted on social media.
