The television series “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath”  hosted by American actress, author, and activist Leah Remini was not cancelled but came to a natural end after three seasons.

The show, which aired on A&E from 2016 to 2019, featured Leah Remini and other former members of the Church of Scientology sharing their experiences and investigating allegations of abuse within the organization.

While the show received critical acclaim and won several awards, including an Emmy for Outstanding Informational Series or Special, it concluded after its third season as planned. Remini and her co-host, Mike Rinder, stated that they had accomplished their goals of shedding light on the issues surrounding Scientology and helping those affected by the organization.

It’s worth noting that Remini’s outspoken criticism of Scientology and her involvement in the documentary series have generated controversy and legal threats from the Church of Scientology. However, the show’s conclusion was not a result of cancellation but rather a decision made by the production team and the show’s creators to bring the series to a conclusion.

Leah Remini has written a memoir titled “Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology” and has been actively involved in advocating for the rights of former Scientologists and raising awareness about the controversial practices of the organization.
