Ellie Roebuck was born on September 23, 1999, in Sheffield, England. She currently plays as a goalkeeper for Manchester City, and England.
Roebuck began her football career at age 15, playing with Beighton Magpies in Sheffield, where she grew up.

So far, she has played for Sheffield United, Manchester City, England U17 & U19 teams, and Great Britain.
Following her debut with Manchester City in 2018, Roebuck went on to win both the FA Cup and League Cup. She was awarded the inaugural Barclays FA WSL Golden Glove, after making 16 league appearances.
Roebuck made her debut for England in 2018, and in 2021, she was selected as one of the two goalkeepers in the Great Britain women’s Olympic football team for the 2020 Olympics.
In 2022, she represented England at the UEFA Women’s Euro.
