British DJ and radio presenter, Trevor Nelson, is famous for being a host of two the BBC’s most popular music networks.

Nelson is an award-winning DJ and promoter of RnB music across the globe.

Nelson was born in the London Borough of Hackney to a family of St Lucian heritage. He was schooled at the Central Foundation Boys’ Grammar School in London, and Westminster Kingsway College.

Nelson began with a part-time job as a DJ early in life and launched his career from there. In 1985, he worked as a record importer and broadened his experience in DJ.

Nelson later took up another job in A&R for record labels Cooltempo and EMI, and was opportuned to promote events and artistes such as D’Angelo, Mica Paris and Lynden David Hall.

Nelson is still a DJ, touring round the UK and Europe.
