She revealed that she had a puffy face because she had had two kidney transplants in the space of 5 years, making her body change drastically. “I love to be STRONG. (I’ll be using that word a lot). Strength is everything. Being strong has gotten me where I am. Both mentally and physically. I am not a fan of ‘being skinny.’ I have basically been on bed rest for the past few months, I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass,” she posted.

What diseases does Sarah Hyland have?
Sarah Hyland was diagnosed with kidney dysplasia in 2012. She had her first kidney transplant in 2012 which was donated by her father. And then in 2017, her body rejected the previous transplant, making it the urge to need another one. Her brother Ian Hyland had to donate his kidney to her for her to stay alive and well.
