Known for his distinctive musical style blending corridos tumbados with elements of Latin urban music, Pluma has skyrocketed to fame and has significantly contributed to the resurgence of corridos, a traditional Mexican music genre.

Pluma’s rise to fame accelerated with the release of his studio albums “Ah y Qué?” (2020) and “Efectos Secundarios” (2021), which achieved moderate success.

However, it was his collaboration with Raul Vega on the hit track “El Belicón” in 2022 that catapulted him to stardom. The song sold an impressive 480,000 units and earned an 8× Platinum Latin certification by the RIAA, cementing Peso Pluma’s status as a chart-topping artist.

Continuing his streak of success, Pluma released the acclaimed extended play “Sembrando” and the controversial duet “Siempre Pendientes” with Luis R Conriquez, which achieved a 5× Platinum Latin certification and entered the prestigious Billboard Global 200 chart.

The song’s monumental success was further underscored when Spotify revealed it as the 5th most-streamed song worldwide by the end of 2023.

Peso Pluma’s musical prowess was duly recognized when his third studio album, “Génesis” (2023), clinched the coveted Grammy Award for Best Música Mexicana Album, including Tejano.

This accolade solidified his position as a formidable force in the music industry and underscored his significant contributions to the genre.

With his chart-topping hits, groundbreaking achievements, and unwavering dedication to his craft, Peso Pluma continues to captivate audiences worldwide and remains a prominent figure in the ever-evolving landscape of Latin music.
