Why is Moe Wagner not playing?

Moritz Wagner is not playing as he got sidelined since mid-October with the right midfoot strain he suffered in a preseason contest.

Moritz Wagner sprained his ankle in the final preseason game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. In the 2018 tournament, Moritz Wagner averaged 15.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

On April 28, 2021, Moritz Wagner debuted for Orlando Magic against the Cleveland Cavaliers, scoring two points, grabbing two rebounds and dishing out an assist across nine minutes in a 109–104 win.

Moritz Wagner won gold with the Germany U18 national team at the 2014 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship Division B in Bulgaria.

On January 13, 2018, Moritz Wagner scored a career-high 27 points as Michigan defeated the Michigan State Spartans 82–72 in East Lansing.
