Ming-Na Wen is famous for being an actress and voice-over artist. She features in one of her most popular films when she starred in The Joy Luck Club in 1993. She also played the role of Dr. Jing-Mei “Deb” Chen on the NBC drama series ER.

In 1998, she bagged her debut voice-acting role as the title character in the animated film Mulan, and its direct-to-video sequel Mullan II. She went on to appear in the video game Kingdom Hearts II.

Wen starred as Agent Melinda May in the ABC superhero drama series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in 2013. She played the role for 7 years.
In 2019, it was announced that she would be a cast member of the Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian, playing Fennec Shad. She reprised the role vocally in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and the live-action series The Book of Boba Fett.
She also starred in several movies including Prom Night, Push, BoyBand, Two and a Half Men, Phineas and Ferb, Private Practice, Boston Legal, Stargate Universe, and more, from 2008 to 2011
