Karen Allen, the actress who played Marion Ravenwood in the original “Indiana Jones” trilogy, reprised her role in “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” (2008) and in “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” (2023).

Karen Allen graduated from DuVal High School in Lanham, Maryland, and moved to New York City to study art and design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Karen Allen got her critical and commercial breakthrough came when she portrayed Marion Ravenwood opposite Harrison Ford in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), for which she won the Saturn Award for Best Actress.
Karen Allen has also received recognition for her work in The Glass Menagerie (1987), Year by the Sea (2016), and Colewell (2019). Allen also starred in the short-lived series The Road Home (1994) and portrayed Dr. Clare Burton in the video game Ripper (1996).
