Jessica James is a country pop singer from the United States. James Decker’s fame increased after she starred in the mid-2010s reality TV series with her husband Eric Decker.

Decker began working with Carla Wallace of Big Yellow Dog Music at the age of 15, after auditioning for and being rejected by the majority of Nashville’s country labels.
Mercury Records approached her after hearing one of her songs and offered her a recording contract. Jessie James, her debut album, was released in 2009.
Jessie James had moderate success, with the single “Wanted” reaching the Top 40 of the singles charts. Despite Decker’s preference for country music, the album was produced and marketed with a pop audience in mind.

Decker’s second album, titled Daughter of a Gypsy or Sweet American Dreams, was shelved by Mercury, and after three singles performed poorly on the country charts, Decker was let go.
She released her EP The Woman I’ve Become on October 22, 2021. The project resulted in a headlining tour, which concluded in August 2022 after visiting major cities across the country.
