Aside from acting, Jenna Ortega is heavily involved in philanthropy. She is an outspoken supporter of LGBTQ rights, gun control, and immigration reform.

Ortega is a supporter of the Pride Over Prejudice campaign, which promotes acceptance of the LGBT community; she has been an advocate for the organisation since she was 13 years old.
