Eamonn Holmes OBE is a Northern Irish journalist and broadcaster. Between 1993 to 2005, Holmes co-hosted GMTV for twelve years before taking over as host of Sky News Sunrise for eleven years between 2005 and 2016.

Holmes contributes to The People newspaper with a column. In May 2006, his autobiography was released.
This is MY Life is the title of his autobiography, a nod to another famous Irish Eamonn, Eamonn Andrews, after whom he was named.

Why Is Eamonn Holmes Using A Crutch?
Last March, he was diagnosed with a dislocated pelvis and three slipped discs.
In the meantime, Eamonn Holmes continued to walk with crutches as he attended Piers Morgan’s star-studded Christmas party.
Taking to Instagram, the 63-year-old TV personality appeared to be in good spirits as he smiled for a selfie with Piers, noting in the caption that it was a “huge step ahead” for him.
