Charles Barkley had an illustrious career as a professional basketball player.  He achieved numerous accolades. Despite being shorter than the average power forward, he used his strength and aggression to become one of the NBA’s most dominant rebounders.

He is one of only our players in NBA history to have more than 20,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 4,000 assists in their careers. He was a versatile player who could score, create plays, and defend.

Barkley was an 11-time NBA All-Star, an 11-time All-NBA Team member, and the NBA’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1993 and he was the driving force behind a Phoenix Suns team that finished with the best record in the league and advanced to the NBA Finals.

He was named to the 50th and 75th-anniversary teams of the NBA. Following his retirement from basketball, Barkley transitioned to a successful career as a sports analyst and commentator. He became a prominent face on television, particularly on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” show.

Charles Barkley was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame twice, once for his individual career and once as a member of the “Dream Team” in 2010.
