Why is Babe Ruth so famous?

He demonstrated determination because after he came out of the hospital, he didn’t rest, he conditioned on his farm to prepare himself to go back to baseball. Leadership is another heroic characteristic.

Why did Babe Ruth stop playing baseball?

After his retirement as a player, he was denied the opportunity to manage a major league club, most likely due to poor behavior during parts of his playing career.

In his final years, Ruth made many public appearances, especially in support of American efforts in World War II.

Ruth retired in 1935 after a partial season with the Boston Braves, ending his 22-year big league career with 714 home runs.
