Why Is Anna Wintour So Famous?

Anna Wintour became widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in fashion.

After working as a fashion editor for a series of New York magazines, she served as editor of British Vogue and as editor of House & Garden, which she controversially relaunched in the United States as HG.

She returned to London and was the editor of British Vogue between 1985 and 1987. Anna introduced sweeping changes to Vogue from her first issue forward. Many of these changes could be seen right on the cover.

With her trademark pageboy bob haircut and dark sunglasses, Windsor has become an important figure in much of the fashion world, praised for her eye-emerging fashion trends.
