When asked why he keeps the precious award in his refrigerator, he shared that even though he wants his friends to know he has an Oscar, he still doesn’t want to actually tell people that he has an Oscar.

Considering that he won the award almost 50 years ago, it is possible that so many people have forgotten that he has an Oscar.

Some people keep their prized positions in safes, but safes are the first place the robbers will look,” he said.

I don’t like to brag, but I like everyone to know about it. Sooner or later, I know they are all going to go to the refrigerator,” he added.

Dreyfuss beat Woody Allen to weed the award that year. However, Woody took home Best Director and Best Screenplay of the Year in 1977. Diane Keaton also won the Best Actress Award for “Annie Hall.”
