CEOs like Palm Bailey, Tim Pawlenty, and Mitch Bainwol, CEO of the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, do not have LinkedIn accounts.

As of March 2023, LinkedIn recorded over 900 million registered members drawn from at least 200 countries.

LinkedIn is a platform that enables employees, jobseekers and employers to create professional profiles and connect with each other.

LinkedIn Members can invite both new and existing members to connect. The platform is also used to “organize offline events, create professional groups, write articles, publish job postings, post photos and videos, and other activities.”

LinkedIn recently cut down over 700 jobs and closed its app in China, with the aim of “streamlining the firm’s operations.”
