At Extreme Rules on May 1, 2011, The Miz lost the WWE Championship to Cena in a triple-threat steel cage match which ended his reign at 160 days.

In 2012, following a two-month absence, The Miz returned at Money in the Bank on July 15 to participate in the WWE Championship Money which was won by John Cena.

Michael Gregory Mizanin is currently signed to WWE and performs on under the ring name The Miz.

Michael Gregory Mizanin was born on October 8, 1980, in Parma, Ohio, United States of America. Mizanin was ranked No. 1 on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s annual PWI 500 list that same year.

Mizanin first gained fame as a reality television participant and appeared on The Real World: Back to New York in 2001. Mizanin stars in the reality television series Miz & Mrs. alongside his wife, Maryse Ouellet.

Mizanin signed with WWE in 2004 and debuted on the main roster in 2006. Mizanin became WWE’s 25th Triple Crown Champion and 14th Grand Slam Champion.
