Sania announced after losing in the first round of the Australian Open women’s doubles event. She did, however, make it to the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles with American Rajeev Ram at Melbourne Park.

Sania and Rajeev were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open by Jason Kubler and Jaimee Fourlis on Tuesday, which could be the last time the Indian tennis star plays at Melbourne Park.

Sania is currently spending time with her family.
