He was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs as 29th overall pick, in the 2016 NBA draft, ditching his final three years of college eligibility.

Dejounte Murray Career

Murray played college basketball at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Washington.

His school has produced NBA stars such as Jamal Crawford, Doug Christie, Terrence Williams, Nate Robinson and Kevin Porter Jr. Murray.

Murray proceeded to the University of Washington, where he played college basketball for the Washington Huskies, for one season.

In his first year, he averaged 16.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.8 steals in 33.5 minutes, all in 34 games.
