While with the Temple Owls he played both as a wide receiver and a defensive back.

As of 2013, Anderson recorded 44 passes for 791 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. And in his senior season he recorded 70 catches for 939 yards.

He had the most receptions and caught the most yard passed in the history of Temple University.

Anderson made it to the Athletic Conference All-Conference team and Third Team All-Conference with his team after his senior season.

In 2020, Anderson was signed by the Carolina Panthers to a two-year contract worth $20 million and a signing bonus of $8 million.
