Popular American rap group, Migos, who were made up of three members, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff split at the beginning of 2022. The group announced that Offset was no longer part of them. Quavo who was the uncle of Takeoff announced that the group was then made up of only two members; himself and his nephew, Takeoff.

He shared that Offset going off had nothing to do with a record label or any paperwork, but it was entirely based on loyalty.

“We stand on real deal loyalty, and sometimes that sh*t ain’t displayed. This ain’t got nothing to do with no label, no paperwork, no QC, nothing. This got something to do with the three brothers. And sh*t, it is what it is. Right now, we gon’ be the duo ’till time tell,” Quavo said.
However, on October, 4, 2020, he reportedly gave a hint on the group reuniting and releasing their next album dubbed Culture IV. Unfortunately, the passing of Takeoff might not make things possible.
