American musician, Vince Neil, who was the lead singer of the 90s popular heavy metal band, Mötley Crüe, was kicked out of the band in 1992 due to his drinking habit which was pulling the group back.

After their 1991 hit album, Decades of Decadence 81-91, his drinking became a serious issue for the band. According to sources, he stopped showing up for rehearsals and bailed on the team on most occasions. Therefore, Sxx, Lee, and Mars decided to kick him off the team in 1992.

In order not to make the public know what was going on at the time, the band released an official statement stating that Neil’s love for race car driving became a priority for him, therefore, he needed to focus on that more and leave the band.

Who did Mötley Crüe replace Vince Neil with?

American singer, John Corabi was Vince Neil’s replacement after he was kicked off from Mötley Crüe. Mars and Sixx agreed that Corabi could singer anything at anytime that is why he was the right choice of replacement for the band.
